Hendrickson, Treanor Signed

The Florida Marlins have agreed to terms with LHP Mark Hendrickson on a 1 year contact worth $1.5 million guaranteed and an additional $500,000 in incentives. Hendrickson last pitched with the Los Angeles Dodgers and compiled a 5.21 ERA in 2007. He is expected to fill a role in the starting rotation for 2008.

In addition, the Marlins have avoided arbitration with veteran catcher, Matt Treanor who agreed to a 1 year deal valued at $705,000. Treanor is expected to split time with Mike Rabelo in 2008.
