Rabelo called up; Hoover sent down

According to the Marlins post-game show following the Marlins 4-3 win over the Nationals on Thursday night, it was reported by Tommy Hutton and Rich Waltz that catcher Mike Rabelo had been recalled from his injury rehab assignment with the Jupiter Hammerheads and would be joining the team in Houston.

Paul Hoover has been optioned back to AAA to open a roster spot on the 25-man roster.

Rabelo was 6-for-30 in his rehab assignment with the Hammerheads with two runs, two doubles and an RBI.
