The Marlins played their first ever game in Seattle on Monday and opened the series against the Seattle Mariners with a 6-1 win. The win was the team’s 2nd in a row and kept them 3 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East. The Marlins and Mariners had only played one series in history prior to this with that series taking place in Florida back in 2005.
